Tommy Hanson  - Head Cook

Hello I'm Tommy Hanson

Grew up in Nenana 60 miles from Fairbanks. My mother showed my siblings and I how to cook from a very young age. I started working in for Sal's Klondike diner from 1989-2011. In 2012 i opened Tommy’s snack shack till 2017. Now I'm lead Cook at "THE CATCH" . I hope you to see you guys when we open up!!

Carl Anthony Bowman JR - Dinner Cook

Hello I’m Carl Anthony Bowman JR


I was born into a Military Life May 18, 1957 to Carl and Dorothy Bowman, I’ve Experienced many different cultures and cuisines throughout my military brat life.

My wife Mary and I ran a Rafting and Bed & Breakfast business in the Copper Jalley, Alaska through the 90’s.

My Professional cooking experience began on the north Slope (Prudoe Bay) Alaska. I worked in small man camps as well as polished my skills in 300 and 500 hotels catering to both slope workers and tourists. College and have worked in the catering industry since moving to the Kenai peninsula in 2006. I look forward to serving you here at "THE CATCH" Restaurant & Bar.

Eric Marshall - GM

    Eric Marshall General Manager of "THE CATCH" Restaurant & Bar/ Alaska Anglers Inn. I was born in Montana & raised in Alaska.

    After touring the lower 48 for work, he settled in Pittsburgh, PA. Where he owned & operated a successful bar & grill for over a decade.

    Eric sold his business & home in Pittsburgh to return to to Alaska to reunite with his family. He can often be found taking photos of the local scenery & wildlife while combing  the beaches for supplies to create local crafts.

    Eric has been with "THE CATCH" since the beginning , he over saw the demolition & rebuild of the restaurant, bar & hotel sharing the vision of Nika & Vern Davidhizar.

    Eric believes in customer first & maintains a positive environment for his employees. He is looking forward serving his community while making the summer visitors feel welcome and enjoy there visit at "THE CATCH" Restaurant and Bar/Alaska Anglers Inn.
